See buildings where Ralph Waldo Emerson, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Henry David Thoreau, Margaret Fuller, Bronson Alcott, Henry James, Louisa May Alcott, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, and many other important American (and even some British) authors, philosophers, and essayists lived, worked, and stayed.
